Implementation of the electronic manifest control system connected to the ASYCUDA World server for ZIMRA, preferably in collaboration with ZINARA.This ensures that inspection of commercial trucks is well coordinated. In particular, it has introduced a Cargo Flow Management System, one that would be fully compatible with the new ASYCUDA World system that has recently been introduced at the Customs & Excise Division. It should be noted that ASYCUDA World had been rolled out in previous aid-for-trade programs but small island states were excluded hence an example that even small economies should not be excluded from important aid-for-trade initiatives just because of their size. A similar initiative can be drawn from the ongoing initiative (under PACER Plus) to establish ASYCUDA World tailored for the small island states like Nauru, Kiribati and Tuvalu.
